Installation

Stainless steel sink comes in 3 installation option: Undermount, Topmount, Apron front.

 

  • Undermount sinks are installed beneath the countertop. The rim of the sinks are hidden and it is generally favored for being more hygienic. If you don’t have much time to spend deep cleaning your sink then undermount sink is suitable for you.

 

  • For topmount, the rim of the sink will sit on top of the counter. People with topmount sink need to pay more attention to the rim over time and clean it thoroughly to prevent bacteria from accumulating on it.

 

  • Apron front sinks is know for its stunningly elegant aesthetic. This installation type requires customized cabinets but it makes your kitchen instantly seem more classy and luxurious. This type of sink needs larger kitchen space, so this is not your best option if you have small kitchen.
