Protection Against The Novel Coronavirus, Starting With A Clean Sink

Feb 04, 2020

More than 30,000 people have been infected with the novel coronavirus (named 2019-nCoV), which began spreading from Wuhan, Hubei Province, China, in December 2019. Based on the present evidence, it can be determined that the novel coronavirus can be transmitted from person to person. The Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention analyzed the

presence of contact transmission of the novel coronavirus, including direct and indirect contact. So far, the novel virus has spread to about 20 countries around the world, including the United States, Canada, Australia, Britain, Germany, South Korea, Japan and so on.

To prevent virus infection, we should start from ourselves. Protect ourselves well is the greatest contribution we can do. First of all, remember to wear a surgical mask when you go outside. Secondly, do a good job of disinfection at home. Our cutlery, clothes, vegetables and fruit should be sterilized. Finally, we must wash our hands often.

Do a good job of cleaning work is inseparable from the sink. Only if the sink is kept clean can we do a better job of cleaning it. So keeping the sink clean is also an important part of our efforts to prevent viral infections.

For regular cleaning, simply rub down the sink with a mild abrasive cleaner using a soft cloth or sponge. With a quick rinse of water and a wipe dry; it's done. Never use steel wool or harsh detergents.
